Botanical Bunting (spaces left)
Tutor: Steph Oliver

Sunday 21 August 10-4  £55  (£40 cons)

Using gelli-plate print, transfer and stencil techniques, we will explore creating different surface textures and nature themed images onto a range of papers.

Following a morning of guided experimentation, you can then take your time to print a set of decorative paper bunting to take home with you in a gift box - keep it for yourself, or perfect as a present for someone special!

DRAW into Abstraction (3 spaces left)
Thurs/Fri 18/19 August  £110 (90 concs)

Immerse yourself in the experience of large-scale gestural drawing! The focus is on exploration and experimentation using a variety of materials. I will provide guidance and structure as you need throughout the 2 days. To loosen up we will begin the first day of the course working collaboratively and once you have explored and and got your creative juices flowing, you can spend the next day developing your work in the direction you want to with support and advice from myself and your peers.

DRAW into the woods (2 spaces left)
Mon 29 August - Thursday 1 September £210 (£170)

We will start in the woods: drawing, collecting materials and experiencing that immersion in the the landscape. As well as individual, reflective drawing and creative writing in handmade notebooks, we will do some large scale collaborative drawing and making using natural materials. This longer course will give you time to develop a body of work independently with support and stimulus as and when you need it. Suitable for all levels of drawing experience, whether complete beginner or practising artist, the focus is on fun and experimentation, sharing ideas and working within a creative supportive group
